Description: This is a vintage Lunar 1 two stage moon rocket from Scientific Products, first manufactured in 1963. This is the two-stage version of the original Alpha 1 rocket from1958. This was a popular toy for those wanting to participate in the United States space program. All parts and supplies are included. The rocket is in excellent condition and has been tested. It is flyable using a mixture of citric acid and sodium bicarbonate to generate the carbon dioxide propellant, making is safe for all ages, 8 and above. The second stage can reach an altitude of approximately 200 feet, and a similar distance down range. Please use in a large open field to avoid losing the second stage.
