Description: Vintage 1950s GUERLAIN EAU de COLOGNE IMPERIALE 16 oz Splash Bee Bottle 70% Full. The original perfume is inside about 70% full. The bee bottle and stopper are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or breaks. The paper label is complete and still intact. The bottle with stopper is approximately 7.75" in height and 3.25" in diameter. A great addition to anyone's collection. **************** Refer to the information on google: Cylindrical glass bottle with relief decoration representing 69 bees, symbol of the empire. The spherical cap takes up a tortoiseshell decoration. The label is still present "Eau de Cologne impérial". Guerlain had been named "Official Perfumer of His Majesty" by Napoleon III. The bottles were made by the French glassworks POCHET & DU COURVAL in 1853 for Guerlain's "L'eau impériale". Period: 1st half of the twentieth century. Under the large bottle is inscribed in relief: Guerlain made in France.
