Description: This is a quintessential 1950s era doll dress we believe was originally made for an Arranbee / R&B Littlest Angel 10.5” hard plastic doll. It also fits similar 10” dolls of the era. The dress, in solid dusty pink cotton, is short-sleeved (puffy, elasticized) with white loop braid-like trim around the collar and across the bodice. At the neckline, there is a three-dimensional floral bouquet made of a hard plastic, with a rhinestone center on one of the three flowers. The back of the flower bouquet is fashioned like a button and safety pins to the dress. There are two Dot Starlet white enamel snap fasteners at the back for closure, and separate pink gingham underpants with pink and white lace trim underneath the dress.No tags/no labels on either item. Condition: Very good vintage used condition; thinning fabric, signs of age and use. The elastic in the short sleeves and in the underpants has disintegrated. To remove the surface dust and grime, it was carefully hand-laundered after the floral brooch appliqué was removed and then re-pinned.Doll not included.
