Description: Vintage Buzza motto, produced in 1927 & with artwork by Lee Hero & a verse from the writings of James W Foley, entitled "Friend O' Mine".The motto is about 6.5" by 4.5" in size, with a sweet verse about friendship below a silhouette scene of a woman with full skirt & bonnet under an umbrella with a mail man handing her a letter, all in a rainy scene with a fence & cottage in the background. The print has nice color, the frame is two tone wood, original glass & original backing with small brass eyelet for hanging on the wall. The paper backing has separated along the wood frame as shown in the photos, * at some time, two tiny eyelets were strung with blue ribbon for hanging. An interesting paper label in the shape of a frog or toad is still on the back from the Williamantic Art & Gift Shop in Willimantic, Connecticut.
