Description: A pretty vintage evening dress from the late 1920s/early 1930s! So many great elements here, I don’t know where to begin! Sheer black silk georgette with pretty lace insets. V neck with dreamy cape collar, and romantic modified angel wing sleeves. Tiny rows of pintucks from high waist to hip; beautiful bias cut panels with saw tooth seaming at skirt. Self rose at hip, attached skinny belt. Fair condition; mostly just needs restitching at seams; many seam separations scattered throughout, mostly where the lace attaches to the silk. Lace sleeve edges look a little raw and need re-done. Yellowing inside neckline. Attached belt has two raw ends, I think there used to a buckle attached. A couple of picks throughout. No closures, slips overhead. 46.5” long 14” shoulder to waist 17” underarm to underarm 32” waist 37” hips 13.5” shoulder seam to seam 24.5” long sleeves
