Description: The VINTAGE 1917-1953, GLASBAKE QUEEN ANNE GUARANTEED HEAT-RESISTING 2-QT. HANDLED BOWL is in very good vintage condition with no cracks or crazing. There are some markings that look like scratches (see photos), but I feel they are the result of the glass-making process. There is some roughness at certain areas on the rim. The impressed backstamp includes the following information: Queen Anne, Reg. U.S. Pat Office, Guaranteed, Heat Resisting, Glasbake. I was able to date the bowl using the spelling of Glasbake found on the backstamp (1917-1953). It was produced by the McKee Glass Company in Jeannette, Pennsylvania.
