Description: For your consideration, a striking vintage 14K gold star sapphire and diamond cocktail ring, circa 1980s-90s. The ring is in overall good vintage condition with minimal surface abrading to the sapphire and mild scratching and wear to the gold setting. The ring is likely custom made and has some slight irregularities to the setting at the shoulders where additional diamonds were likely going to be added and were later abandoned (see pics 12-13). No loose stones detected, stones test as sapphire and diamond with a presidium gem tester. The diamonds vary in color from white to champagne. Hallmarked 14K and signed BK. **Signature required for delivery.** Size 7-7.25, weight 10.4 grams. Sapphire measures approximately 7x10mm and is natural. I would guesstimate the carat weight at around 2 carats, give or take (I’m not a trained gemologist). 32 diamonds total at approximately 2mm each for a combined weight of approximately 85-95 points. This ring is quite top heavy, I recommend having sizing beads added to the shank by a jeweler to balance it when worn.
