Garnet is January's birthstone. The ring is set with a 12 x 6 mm (2.00 ct) marquise garnet, secured by four prongs. It is accented on each side by a tapered baguette of genuine white topaz. The gems are damage-free, and total carat weight is about 2.20 ctw. The face measures 1/2" north to south. The ring is hallmarked 14k with maker's mark JS. It weighs 2.4 grams, is a size 8.25 and can be sized by any competent jeweler. This ring is in very good vintage condition.
