Victorinox Explorer Swiss Army knife- used, excellent 80s "left hand" #5419

Description: CONDITION: Used. Excellent, grade A condition. Little or no wear on the blades and other tools. Everything moves freely, with excellent snap. A few scratches on the red scales, but much less wear than usual. They still are mostly smooth and shiny. This is a mid-70s to early-80s knife with a grooved corkscrew, solid awl, and adjustable screw at the scissors pivot. No 90° stop on the bottle opener, and no hook on the rear. LEFT HANDED NOTE: Some early Explorers have the magnifier layer next to the blades, rather than the modern configuration next to the openers. We have not been able to determine when the switch occurred. It's also possible that both versions were produced in parallel.
