Description: The listing is for a Victorian Triple Plate, silver plate Art Nouveau samovar, manufactured by the Simpson Hall & Miller during the late 1800's, prior to their merge with the International Silver Company. The design of the samovar is in the traditional silver plate and the acid etched or "Butler Finish" used to replicate years of polishing. Together they create a stunning contrast. The samovar features a cartouche in the front which is blank, exceptional floral design on the base and a high turned up collar which was used by manufacturers of silver plate during the 1870's and soon disappeared from the market. The burner is not original to the samovar, Condition: The samovar is in good condition as shown in the pictures. The silver plate is shiny and bright and there are no visible repairs. There is a very small ding which is very hard to see located on the Right Side, opposite the cartouche in the shinny portion. The burner is not original but works.Size: The samovar stands 16 inches tall and measures 9.25 inches wide, measuring across the handles. Shipping: We will ship the samovar by Fed X or USPS Advantage at our discretion. We gladly combine shipping whenever possible. At this time, we are unable to ship to Alaska or Hawaii. Returns: We try to describe our items as accurately as possible. Please ask questions prior to bidding or buying an item, we will gladly answer as soon as we can. Our items are not returnable for issues that we have shown in the pictures or described. Track Page Views WithAuctiva's Counter
