The device worked in the frequency range from 34MHz to 36.5MHz on 6 working channels controlled by quartz crystals. The type of work was SSB telephony and unmodulated telegraphy - CW. The full output power of the transmitter was 20W. It was powered by a DC voltage of 12V from a NiCd accumulator with a capacity of 7Ah, mark 10KA-6, of the "KruĊĦik" factory in Valjevo. The RT-20 TC-6U radio set for the army was primarily used for communication with the cooperating territorial defense unit.
