Description: Up for sale today is a very special machine! I present to you, the 1968 Penncrest Model 1370 vacuum! This machine was a privately labeled model that was produced by Hoover for JCPenneys. It is essentially a Hoover Convertible with the Penncrest branding as well as the “Pennys blue” colored hood, bag, handle grip, and bumper. These Penncrest vacuums are very rare now and not easy to find. This particular example came out of a collection of someone that took meticulous care of it and mechanically restored it a few years ago. The only minor flaws that this one has is a little minor fading on the top of the hood, the handle release is also a bit worn and will hold the handle up, but the bag spring can pull the handle down sometimes, and it needs a new belt as well. This vacuum is being SOLD AS IS.
