This is exactly why this sawmill company chose to issue tokens with no town name. As timber was cut out in a region, Tasker could move its small company town to a new location. Early photos often reveal that these sawmill company towns utilized buildings and housing for employees built on skids for easy relocation. Simply rolling them on logs was one manner of moving these structures. This 31 mm aluminum token is in XF condition with no corrosion as pictured.
