Description: From my personal collection is an extremely rare, never documented, Original WWII Japanese Type 30 bayonet, complete with issued frog and scabbard. This Type 30 Bayonet was originally manufactured by Matsushita national Denki Manufacturing. The Bayonet was then Removed from Service and over stamped with the Imperial Navy Anchor and reissued to the Japanese Imperial Navy. The Bayonet is in great condition. The scabbard, LBS-5 (from Raymond Book) has a small dent near the bottom. The Frog, LBF-59 (from Raymond Book) 3 layer rubberized in very good condition. Blade is straight and unbent. The other metal parts are in very good condition as well. Wood grips are in very good condition as are the grip rivets. The push button is in perfect working order. There is no serial number or marking on the grip. The original metal scabbard is in good condition with all the blue remaining but has a small dent near the base. The bayonet does fit tight into the scabbard. Both rivets are present and appear to have never been removed. Frog scabbard retaining strap is complete and unbroken. Stitching is tight throughout. An Addition to this Very Rare Navy Over Stamped Type 30 Bayonet is the WAR TROPHY BRING BACK DOCUMENTATION, DATED 7 Feb 1946, to Walter Parsons, Tec4. The Documentation also has the Triangular Seal signed. This rare, very nice, and complete Type 30 Bayonet with Navy Over Stamp is a GREAT Addition for any collection. Buyer pays State Tax and shipping. Returns are not accepted. Please contact me for any questions. kaydees1 Dwight Brown
