Description: This is a fully polished piece of Burmite (Burmese) amber that contains a contains a very rare, large Cretaceous Period Earwig insect from the Order Dermaptera.This earwig has a pincer-like abdomen and was on the Earth when dinosaurs including T-Rex and Triceratops were! The piece itself weighs 0.5 grams with approximate dimensions of 1.3 cm length by 1.1 cm width and 0.35 cm height. NOTE: 2.54 cm is 1 inch.Please see my feedback.
