Description: I'm helping a Butte, Montana family sell their father's coin collection. 403 Morgan dollars and 78 Peace dollars. Collecting silver dollars in Montana was easy at one time because we used them for everyday coinage until about 1964. Also half dollars, quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies. This collection has been stored away for 44 years since the collectors death. I have gone thru the coins and l assigned tentative grades to them based PCGS photo grading that I found online. I didn't grade any of the coins higher than a "60" because I don't have the experience or expertise to make that kind of evaluation. I have turned the 12 page inventory spreadsheet into pdf's and added them as photos to this listing (rather awkward, but at least buyers can see how I graded the available coins) None of these coins have been looked at by dealers or coin experts and none of them have been sent in to the grading companies. Many of the silver dollars are shiny and don't show any wear - especially groups of them from the New Orleans mint. It would be impossible to show photos of each individual coin, but you can send me questions and I will try to respond. This collection will only be sold within the confines of eBay.
