RARE* DUNHILL CIGARETTE HOLDER PAT.No 5861/12 (1913-1926) *N.MINT* A very beautiful cigarette holder by Dunhill made of briar wood featuring birds-eye grains on its surface, which can be smoked without filter. Its stem is made of vulcanite. The stamps are DUNHILL LONDON 1415 MADE IN ENGLAND. Such (DUNHILL LONDON) were the stamps of the Dunhill pipes from the 1910s-1920s. On the inner tube we observe the patent number 5861/12, meaning that the holder has been made some time between 1913 and 1926. The holder is in near mint condition, a small scratch on the inner tube is its small fault. It was found protected in a beautiful leather Sasieni pouch (most probably of the same era) which is in excellent condition. A very rare holder, aged 100 years (and maybe more), which is in near mint condition.
