Description: U.S. SOLID BRASS HEX NIPPLE MNPT 1/8" x MNPT 1/8", 1pc FEATURE A nipple is a fitting, consisting of a short piece of pipe, usually provided with a male pipe thread at each end, for connecting two other fittings. Nipples are commonly used with plumbing and hoses. These fittings are made of brass, which is considered more durable for heavy-duty use. Threads used on these nipples are NPT. It is ISO certified and suitable for water, air, oil, gas and fuel. Temperature range: -53 ~ 121 °C (-65 ~ 250 °F). Maximum pressure: 150 psi. Corrosion resistance: Brass inherently resists attack. Though less corrosion resistent than other alloy, it is qualified for most conditions.
