Description: This auction is for a Series of 1902 Five Dollars National Currency banknote from The Cheltenham National Bank of Cheltenham, Pennsylvania. Graded Very Fine 20 with a comment of "Stains" on the back (the holder is shopworn with many scuffs and scratches). This note is obviously heavily circulated and has the following: very heavy folding and wear (also has many heavier creases and many areas of wrinkled folding); overall staining and darker areas of spot/line/section stains (also has smudges, many dark and dirty areas, grease stains, areas of discoloration); very heavy edge and corner wear (including corners rounded and/or split/frayed - edges rough in many areas and oddly cut); many edge indents/nicks (multiple tears exist); very heavy surface wear and fraying (areas of paper loss exist); scattered small holes throughout; small pieces missing due to very heavy wear.
