Description: US, 1937 Christmas Seal Block, Town Crier, Vertical Line Printer Flaw & Slogan Seal, MNH The Printer is (U) U,S, P,& L, 37-4 (Green's), Perf 12 1/2 2S, Block of 16 The Slogan Seal is Seal#78, "Curable." For Years, Green's has listed Seals 35 & 39 flaws in 2 printings. After Years, Seal#67 (photo 3) was found with a white slanted vertical line thru the "9". This is found on both printings, so presumably it was on the 1st printing, never noticed, and appeared on the 2nd printing too. We have been a stamp collector and enthusiast for 50 years. We consider what we sell are fill ins for the advanced collector or stamps that may be preferred by any collector. We do not provide grading for stamps. We provide Scott numbers when we are sure and have tried to select stamps that are attractive to the eye and practical for mounting. Stamps are excellent historic and educational tools.
