Description: Up for offer is this incredible hand carved coin purse/handbag/pouch of some sort from the 1800's. It is very unusual and measures approx. 4 inches by 4 inches. There is a locking mechanical at the bottom - the carving is incredible. It hand and there are metal loops on each side. There is a small piece of wood missing on one side where is hinges - this could be replaced or repaired but that will be left to the buyer. The other side may have been repaired I cannot tell for sure. Very unusual - I have never seen anything quite like it. It could use s bit of cleaning and has a little wear.
