Description: This is an unused vintage cloth patch (see picture) from the defunct World Football League CHICAGO FIRE football team. The Chicago Fire played in the WFL for just one season, 1974, and the home games were played in historic Soldier Field. This round patch measures approximately 3 inches in diameter. Most later Chicago Fire patches have the lettering across the top; this patch has the lettering across the bottom. It is clean and intact, exhibiting little wear from handling and storage over the past 49 years. This unused patch would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Chicago Fire enthusiast, WFL historian, or vintage patch collector in your life!
