An Ominous Death, Annette Mahon An Ominous Death by Annette Mahon is a fine mystery, and this is an excellent copy. It is ex-libris, and bears the markings of its stint in the library. This book does have a protective plastic cover. This is a first edition, first printing of the book. 263 Numbered Pages. Single Price: $20.55 Forced Landing, Thomas H. Block 1984 Berkley Mass Market Very Good 1st SC Ed/Prt Forced Landing by Thomas H.Block is a rousing thriller, and a fine action outing. This particular copy has a beautifully unique design that includes multiple layered images. There is some curling of pages, it is possible part of the front cover has been expertly removed, but title design indicates this is the book's intended expression, as do other online listings. The spine has creasing, but is unbroken. Someone has drawn some sort of maze in blue ink on the inside blank area of the back cover. 309 Numbered Pages. Single Price: $14.99 Lullaby and Good Night, Bugliosi, Stadiem, Stated 1st ed, 1st prnt, HC, Like New The only thing about this book indicating it wasn't recently printed from a publication house is the sticker on the inside front cover bearing the legend "ex libris". This particular copy is pristine, the only things you'll find is exceptionally mild wear around the edges of the dust jacket, and you have to really look for it. Otherwise, this hardback first edition, first printing of a noir thriller is in great shape, and ready for any collector's library. Single Price: $39.99 Collectible Nineties Paperback Cover A Walk Among the Tombstones, Lawrence BlockIn the nineties there were a variety of mass market covers for trending bestsellers that really pushed the boundaries of cover design, and this is one of them, and the chief reason it's worth picking up. See the sunglasses reflecting the tombstone in the pictures. This is an image with texture; it's a raised imprint. Otherwise the book itself is certainly an entertaining thriller. This copy has wear around edges of the cover, and said cover has detached from binding glue to halfway down the binding. See pictures. Spine is creased, book lays open between pages 182, and 183, where there's a notable gutter. 324 Numbered Pages. Single Price: $10.55 Mind Prey, John Sandford, First Edition, First Printing, 1995 Mind Prey is a thriller by John Sanford, and is in excellent condition. The Dust Jacket does have some minor flaws, the underlying book is in excellent condition. Single Price: $49.99 NIGHT CALL FROM A DISTANT TIME ZONE By Herbert Lieberman - Hardcover *Excellent* Here is a classic book in a first edition, first printing. Herbert Lieberman's "Night Call from a Distant Time Zone" met with some acclaim after his previous outing with "City of the Dead". This particular copy is a hardcover including the dust jacket. The book itself is in fine condition, but the dust jacket does have a few minor tears and folds, see pictures. It is most notably damaged toward the top on the back side, and there's a tiny triangular portion missing near the spine on the bottom. All pages sit securely in the binding, there are no inscriptions or marking evident in the book. There is a small blue line on the exterior-facing pages, see pictures. 313 Numbered Pages. Single Price: $49.99 Shock Wave, Clive Cussler, Hardcover, 1st ed., 1st printing, 1996, Collectible Shock Wave by Clive Cussler is a Dirk Pitt novel. It's hardback, it includes a dust jacket, and the book is as new except for shelf wear, which is minor enough this collector hasn't been able to find any. This is a first edition, first printing. 537 Numbered Pages. Single Price: $29.99 The Crystal Cat, Velda Johnston, Book Club Edition, Like New, Vintage, 1985 This book was previously part of Ginnie Prascher's private collection, as advertised by the "ex libris" sticker on the back of the front cover. There is a 9 in faded orange marker on the top of the book, it's hard to find. It could also be a six. Otherwise, the book is in fine condition and almost looks new. 152 Numbered Pages. Single Price: $14.99 The Dutch Blue Error - Tapply, William G. - Paperback - Good Pages 39 to 42 of this copy are loose in the binding. They are included in the book, and sit between other pages without moving, but they have been detached. It's basically one fold that wants to escape. The spine is also creased, and there is a fold line on the top-right of the cover. Otherwise, this paperback is in very good condition and readable, but is perhaps more desirable as a collector's item; especially considering its rarity. This is the first softcover edition from Ballantine Books and was published in 1985. Text Copyright, 1984. 207 Pages.
