I thought it might be an early Erie, after researching I see it’s just as good, however fairly sure it’s a very early Lodge. This unmarked Lodge (based on good research) No. 8 Dutch Oven is a three-piece set that includes a lid and meat trivet , making it perfect for cooking stews and soups. The round cast iron oven has a ~5-quart capacity and measures 10 1/4 inches in diameter, with a ~ appropriate depth of 5 inches and a height of 6 ¼ inches with the lid. The black oven has a vintage design that adds character to any kitchen. The item weighs over 10 lbs and comes with the matching trivet, making it a great addition to any collectible cookware collection. Not exactly sure of the age, however without the “made in” label it’s apparently pre 1960. I thought this was more 1920 / pre 1920 when I found it. Almost 0% rust and seasoned…! In its current condition I was proud to display it and was happy knowing it was almost ready for use with a cleaning or light restoration, now it’s yours!
