Description: These are interesting decals. The colors and whites are very dense and sharp. I have never seen any of these before and because of that, I did some extensive testing on these. I soaked off both large/long multicolor sections and small, single color data. Nearly everything stayed intact, with one exception, which was a bit beat up. I also test-applied them over uneven surfaces (i.e. rivets, weld lines, etc). All required the standard two applications of SolvaSet and all snuggled down impressively without bubbles or distortion. In some sets in this grouping, there are large, continuous artwork segments. Although my experiments were very positive, you might consider cutting these into smaller segments to make them easier to work with. That being said, here’s the standard disclaimer because all older decals are unpredictable: I tested several samples from this batch and have found them to stay intact when thoroughly soaked in water. HOWEVER these are vintage thin film decal and may require several oversprays of Testors Glosscote or Dullcote or application of Micro Scale decal restorer to guarantee integrity of decal film.
