I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These novels are in various conditions, almost all falling somewhere in the good to very good range, especially for their ages. All have solid/attached spines, and great or better (almost all are 'excellent') overall inside pages (photos#19 examples). They do have some signs of wear accumulated throughout the years, although a majority of the flaws are corner based dings and/or cover indents, most of which are lighter in severity, and almost all only affect the books' externals. Volumes 11 and 12 are still sealed in manufacturer's plastic wrap. Due to eBay's photo limit, with lots involving multiple books, I am not able to show the detailed looks I try to maintain, so if you would like any extra photos of a specific description/book, feel free to let me know! Their bottom edges each have a small ding/nearby ~1/2" cover crease near their middles, with otherwise light if any shelf-wear/scuffing. Back cover's has an additional small ding towards the LSC. FTOC has a tiny indent/scuff. FBOC has ~1/2" indent around it, with a tiny ding at the extreme corner that shows lightly on the hardcover below. BTOC has a tiny scuff. BBOC has a tiny ding/scuff, shows as a light indent on the hardcover below. Front jacket possesses a ~1" indent/scratch near its center that shows lightly on the hardcover below, with 2 tiny ones near the LSC. Back jacket has 5 small-to-~1/2" indents/depressions near the LSC (photo#10 w/illumination), 3 more near the BBOC, and a ~1/2" one near the USC. **Vol 2: Good overall condition - solid spine, great overall inside pages. It does have some signs of wear - namely a lower spine corner ding and its accompanying effects, although most of its other flaws are lighter and affecting its externals only. USC has a ding/light indenting around it, it shows lightly on hardcovers below. LSC has a larger/more moderate version - shows on the front and back jackets as adjacent horizontal indents/curls spanning their lengths and a small tear on each near their LSCs (photo#10 w/illumination), shows on the hardcovers below as ~3/4" indents, and on ~2/5 pages as a small/light indent. Front and back jackets' top edges have light curling along them. Front hardcover's top and bottom edges each have 2 small dings on them. FTOC, FBOC, BTOC, and BBOC all possess tiny scuffs/dings, they show lightly on hardcovers below. FBOC has an additional small indent around it on the jacket. Front jacket has numerous tiny pinhead indents around it, as well as some small-to~1" scratches/indents (photo#11 w/illumination), with two light ~6" horizontal ones towards its upper half. None show on the hardcover. Small tear near the USC, shows on hardcover below. Back jacket has a ~2" scratch/indent near the USC, and four more small/light ones around the cover. ~1/6 pages towards book's end have a light ~1" age stain around their bottom outer corners (does not seem to be liquid, as there is no usual accompanying wave/depression effect). **Vol 3: Very good overall condition - solid spine, excellent inside pages. Few and lesser signs of entirely external wear. USC has a ding/indenting around it, it shows lightly on hardcovers below. LSC has small dings/indents at/around where it meets each cover. Front and back covers' top and bottom edges have some light if any shelf-wear/scuffing. FTOC, FBOC, and BTOC have tiny scuffs. BBOC has a light ~1" indent around it, with a tiny tear on the nearby page edge. Front cover's page edge has a ~1" scuff patch near its middle. Back jacket has a light ~1/2" scratch/indent near its center, and another near the LSC. Both jackets have some light shelf-scuffing around them. **Vol 4: Good condition - solid spine, excellent overall inside pages, it has a few signs of external wear, although most of the flaws are lighter in severity. USC has a ding/light indenting around it, it shows as a ~1/2" light indent on the jacket edge, a ~1.5" indent around the corner on the front cover, and lightly on hardcovers below. LSC has a ding where it meets the front cover, shows around it on the jacket and hardcover as a ~1/2" indent. Front and back jackets' top edges have light indenting/curling. Front jacket's bottom edge does as well a little more prominently, and causes an adjacent ~1" jacket indent/crease near its middle (photo#12 w/illumination). Back jacket's bottom edge has light if any shelf-wear, with a nearby light ~1" cover indent and ~1.5" scratch near its middle. FTOC has a tiny ding/scuff, shows on the hardcover below as a bend/ding. Front and back jackets' top edges have a small and ~1" scuffs/indents around their middles, causing nearby/light/parallel indents in some spots on each. Their bottom edges have light if any shelf-wear/scuffing, with an additional nearby light ~3/4" crease on the front near its middle. Hardcover's front bottom edge has a small ding/indent near its middle. FTOC has a small ding/indent/bend, shows on hardcover below, and on ~10 pages as a light indent, and on all as a light bend/very light indent that grows lesser as it travels. BTOC has a ~1/2" indent/ding, shows on hardcover below. FBOC has minimal wear. BBOC has a tiny ding/indent, shows on hardcover below. USC and LSC have light indenting around them. Front and back jackets' top and bottom edges have light levels of shelf-wear/scuffing. FTOC has a small ding/bend, shows on the hardcover below, and as a tiny indent on ~20 pages. FBOC, BTOC, and BBOC have tiny dings/indents, they show lightly on the hardcovers below. Front jacket has a light ~1" scratch/indent towards the top edge, 2 small ones nearby, and 3 small indents/depressions near the spine edge. Back jacket possesses ~5 small/light spine edge indents/depressions. ~Three light ~1" scratches/indents around the page edge. Both jacket covers have some light shelf-scuffing around. FBOC has a ding//~1/2" indent around it. **Vol 12: New/still sealed in manufacturer's plastic wrap - from movement/storage over time, it has 2 small outer corner dings, with few other lesser flaws. USC has a break in the plastic wrap, and a retailer's remainder ink mark on the external pages nearby. LSC has light indenting around it (photo#18 w/illumination). FTOC and FBOC have small dings/indents.
