If you look closely you can see how and where it holds two rules. You will likely need your own rules to make use of this tool. I sell rules in other listing and you can request me to list a rule that is not listed. I primarily have used Starrett rules. You can of course provide your own rules and there is quite a lot of variation in the sizes it takes. I only tested it with the rule you see. Let me know if you have questions or need more photos. Best to ask with lots of lead time before the auction ends if possible. Included is a card of vintage artwork by pin-up artist Gil Elvgren.
