These buttons are made on a professional die cut and crimp button machine. They are NOT your home-made hammered buttons that are bought at your local craft store. They are NOT mass-produced buttons. Each button was hand produced by Walsh Designs. The face of the buttons is made from Fortuny's Italian hand painted Egyptian cotton fabric entitled "Granada". The pattern "Granada" is a modern Spanish design named for Mariano Fortuny's birthplace. The button patterns are random and no two are alike. This fabric is imported from Italy and retails for $760.00 a yard. The buttons are a metal crimp button with a shank back. These would make a great addition to drapes, pillows or even clothing.
