Description: These very old tennis rackets from the early 1900's would look great in the man-cave / woman-cave of a serious tennis player. I would recommend having them re-stringed by someone who specializes in the restoration of tennis rackets. These tennis rackets was made by the famous company of "Wright & Ditson" in Boston, Massachusetts and are so-marked. The marker's mark is very clear. The other side shows a tennis player in period clothing. See photos for condition. I'm not a tennis player so have no idea what the strings are made of; not my area of expertise at all. These are 26 1/2 inches long and the racket heads are 9 inches wide at their widest point. UPDATE: I initially made this listing with only one racket but suddenly found in my large antique cabinet the twin of it; it's in worse condition so only marginally asking more for the two than my original price for the better of the two.
