Trumpet vine or trumpet creeper is a fast growing perennial vine growing up to 40 feet long and are mostly used on walls with their self clinging aerial roots. They also grow quite nicely on a trellis, arbor, pergola, fence or archway. Our hummingbirds love them and we love our hummingbirds. It grows in most areas and is able to tolerate the cold of our Wisconsin winters without issue. Trumpet vine is one of the few garden plants that truly blooms all summer long and produces 3-inch long orange flowers in clusters. Before planting - soak the seeds in water for 24 hours, then plant in well-drained soil 1/8 inches deep in a sunny location. Part shade is okay also. You are getting at least 25 seeds.
