Dyneema is currently the strongest fiber on the planet. Amsteel is, ounce for ounce, 7X stronger than steel of the same weight and 20% stronger than steel cable of the same diameter. It's the same rope used on tug boats, barges, wreckers, and winches Yet it is light enough to float on water, does not absorb moisture, is tangle resistant, and UV resistant. These connection ropes are hand-spliced with pride at the end of my gravel road from 1/8 inch Amsteel Dyneema rope. This rope has a tensile strength of 2500 lbs., so it's plenty strong, yet only weighs a couple of ounces. The main long line is in Black, with the short shuttle line in Green to unobtrusively blend in with the trees. The UCR Fast Hitch System is designed to replace chain systems to secure your stand to the tree. These UCR connection ropes are both stronger and lighter than the chain system it replaces. Simply secure the loop ends of the rope to the stand, pull to adjust and "milk" the bury for a secure, slip free connection to the tree. This rope is adjustable from 30 inches to 130 inches long, so it can deal with just about any sized tree you want.
