Description: From the late 19th century. A Simpson Hall Miller & Co of Wallingford, Conn, antique triple silver plate (treble plate) hinged lidded teapot in a Federal style. The features etched foliage design with a scrolled knob on the hinged lid. No engraving! The teapot is indented, and seems to have silver loss on the handle and spout. Features beautiful and intricate designs, details and craftsmanship. The inside of the pitcher has built-in sieve to prevent tea leaves from going into the cup. This is a beautiful antique piece - needs a good polishing. Staining inside indicates it was enjoyed for many years. Could probably be cleaned. The teapot measures approximately 9 7/8" x 9 1/2W x 3 1/2" D
