Description: Transformers Generation 1 Super-God Masterforce D-307 Overlord ( Godmaster) custom, toy for sale from 1988, complete, with box, styrofoam, paper instructions and toy-line catalog, customized by a previous owner, and loose extra G1 Overlord parts for a "lot", so included to provide original non-customized parts if a buyer wants more of the original look for the action figure that is the core of this listing. Bought from an owner in Japan, where it was presumably originally customized. Vintage customization is found mainly with matte black paint to 1.) parts of main robot's arms on their rear sides, to make the jet mode more realistic to an all-black jet, ( therefore a mainly black "Megajet", and to 2.) the inner lines of the"Gigatank", that make for black-linings to the lower legs of the main robot when standing, and 3.) with black details to the inner-folded-in parts of the the tank-halves, to produce a marked black tread-track detail when the tank-halves are fully transformed into the base mode. and 4.) slight matte white paint application to the sides of the underside of the front of the jet part (the jet-arm-shield). The box has some wear, and fading on one side. Some of the purple pieces show slight fading, and the white of the "Mega" figure shows some yellowing to the legs, and a hairline repair to one of the chrome prongs on the back of the figure, and I found a small dot of a piece of dark blue plastic in the box, and the "Giga" figure has very slight wear to the brass-like chrome. I transformed the figure once to see what the figure was like, given the effect of the customization, and it transforms well, and looks good, and unique, and the springs at the chest work well, while the blaster-spring seems less spry. Stickers are well applied, pieces are altogether in good shape, instructions and catalog are both excellent, styrofoam and box are solid. I have also included four extra loose in-complete parts of G1 Overlord for the buyer, including 1.) 2 upper bodies of Overlord ( 1 with a cracked face), though both with un-customized arms, and 2.) both halves of the tank ( that make up the main robot's legs) also un-customized and 3.) an extra folding laser turret that can deploy from the right-leg/tank half for the base mode, without yellowing to its white plastic... for the buyer if they want or are inclined to change up this vintage custom Transformer, back to its more original look. The figure still looks great, and slightly different and slightly weathered, and the customization ( by whoever did this custom), still keeps to the characters' Decepticon callings, and provide for an interesting and perhaps more realistic looking "Megajet" , base-mode, and robot mode, and the Super Megajet mode ( when the "Megajet and "Gigatank" connect and fly together), and its been done, and can be restored, though so done, it is unique and a striking custom of a G1 Decepticon leader and great toy. There is not another one like it! PHOTOS IN DETAIL: The MAIN PHOTO (1), is of the G1 Overlord, and all the items and parts that come with the figure's box, ( and an extra white-gray-foldable-double-barrelled-laser-turret-for-the-base-mode-part) displayed in base mode. PHOTO (2) - All of the above as stored in the original styro-foam of the box ( with the exception of the extra laser-turret-part shown in Photo (1). PHOTOS (3) - (8) show most of the basic elements of the set ( such as the "Megajet," the "Gigatank," the "Giga" and "Mega" mini-figures, the purple turret for the "Gigatank," the extra white laser turret included with the original set, the black missiles and one still on sprue, the grey mini-car with "Giga" transformed to fit in it with the original white-laser turret of the set visible inside its compartment in the left-side tank-half, the transforming instruction sheet, and the toy-line catalog sheet). PHOTOS (9) - (11) - show the "Megajet," and the "Gigatank" and Overlord transformed into robot-mode with the "Giga" and "Mega" mini-figs transformed and inserted into the chest to activate the extra weaponry. PHOTOS (13) - (19) show how Overlord has been customized by a previous owner, as high-lighted and delineated by parallel or adjacent blue lines I added to the photos in editing, for this purpose. PHOTOS (20) - (21) show the side of the box with the noticeable fading, and the hair-line repair to the upper-part of the left-side chrome as it spikes upwards on "Mega" and the slight yellowing to one side of the white plastic legs of the figure ( also with this photo (21) there are blue lines to high-light and delineate these points on "Mega" that I added in editing to show this). PHOTO (22) - shows the "Mega" mini-figure transformed to sit inside the grey mini-car ( as this "Mega" mini-figure still transforms easily, can move, and functions with the rest of the set). PHOTO (23) - shows the "Mega-Megajet" with the "Megajet" and "Gigatank" combined as they were in the anime but not in the toy's instructions and as the customization of this figure has it. PHOTO (24) - shows the extra G1 Overlord pieces I have included in this listing as bonus, to make it all a lot, and if a perspective buyer does not want to retain the customized look, including two upper-torsos and arms of Overlord ( one with a cracked face, and one with an undamaged face, and both otherwise without customization) and an extra pair of "Gigatank" halves, though without the orange cockpit part but also otherwise without customization). NOTE: To see the three turquoise ramps, look to PHOTOS (1), (2), (11), (16), (18) and (19). I will consider offers too, though the value of the extra un-customized Overlord parts that I have included with the main set, are something I consider with the basic price I am offering for this set, complete and customized as is, and any offers that might be put forward by prospective buyers... and so this is a "lot" so to speak. Thanks for reading and for noticing this listing too!
