Description: Train Station Steam Era Railroad art Framed John Winfield 105/750 signed Frisco Description Here's another listing by Lone Star Trains and Collectibles, YOUR Classic Era Train Headquarters! SIGNED AND NUMBERED by Artist on back Framed Texas State Railroad Here is a very desirable collectible. This is a limited print by John Winfield, railroad artist. You can see his signature as well as the handwritten number of the item on the print. It has been nicely framed and matted. The total framed piece is 25" x 20.5". The scene is a beautiful rural station in the Steam train era. Does it remind you of the lazy summer mornings years ago in that small town you miss? I wonder if those guys on the baggage cart are waiting for the day to begin or did they just come off their shist? I do not know where it is, but judging by Mr. Winfield's body of work, one can surmise it could be Texas. Note the crossing--the steam engine is coming straight at us (once it leaves the station), and there is a Frisco caboose and a Southern (Pacific, maybe) stock car behind that old beautiful tree. It has been nicely framed and matted. I have seen a ton of Winfield prints as he is quite prolific, but I have not come across this one, or another possible partner to this one which we have listed right now in our other listings. Special Note: This is number 107 of 750. We acquired another Winfield piece in this same collection that has the same number on it. They were hanging together. I am not sure if the two were sold as a package or if the original buyer simply preferred that number...if you would like to own both pieces, the other one is currently listed in our other auctions. Check it out! This would be a fantastic addition to your railroad art collection, Train collection or hanging in your train room. John Winfield is a prolific railroad artist based out of Fort Worth, Texas. Check out our other listings right now for more railroad art including some by Max Jacquiard. CONDITION: Print is in nice shape behind frame. There is a punture pictured in the white edge of the print about 1/4 of the way up on the left hand side as you look at it. It was hand numbered and signed by the artist. Frame is nice with a few small rubs. Pictures show it all. SCROLL DOWN into the listing to see more pictures and to be able to ENLARGE.
