Height: 50.5cm As shown in a top view picture how the jig spans across a 20cm x 20cm square, this is how a tower can span over the opening on a loading fixture. Preferred method is to create a template leg piece with markings for the cross bracing locations, and use that to draw markings on the tower legs before assembly, rather than putting the markings on the jig. Jig comes in 3 separate pieces, recommended method to secure the pieces is to simply tape the surface all on sides as shown in the picture. Blue painter's tape works well. Clean jig edges to make your own markings to optimize tower design for cross bracing. The groves for legs are only 1/16" deep, this is intentional so that there is space between the legs and the jig when gluing the cross braces. This helps minimize gluing the cross braces to the jig. 8 cm diameter ring gauge is included, it weighs 8 grams which conforms to the rules. Tower can be assembled directly on the Jig. First attached legs (square / triangular legs such as 3/16/" x 3/16") with tape onto the Jig, then cross braces can be glue to the legs after. Tower should be able to be slide off the top when finished. Be cautious not to spread glue onto the Jig when gluing to prevent tower from sticking to the Jig.
