Description: This wonderful heavy Longhorn Sterling Silver made by the late Tom DeWitt, Santa Fe artist. This weighs 68.2g and is 1" at the widest part. Tom was a local Santa Fe artist who has turned his passion for collecting antiques into a passion for creating old style pieces. He is inspired by jewelry from the southwest from the 1880’s to the 1940’s and has come up with custom techniques to replicate the look of the pieces from that era. On a trip to the National Museum of the American Indian, part of the Smithsonian in DC, he found one of the coin silver concho belts he had made, behind glass and dated as being from the 1920’s. Tom knew he had accomplished his goal of perfecting his old time style when he saw that the national experts couldn’t distinguish his recent designs from the authentic antiques. Tom passed away in 2021 and is greatly missed. FREE SHIPPING in USA
