Description: Rare, Vintage, unused invitation from the 1996 SS Island Breezes' "Titanic Expedition Cruise" As shown, it ran from August 23rd to September 1, 1996 Postage not stamped, never sent back. As shown, slight water damage on the bottom of the return envelope and top of picture. The remainder of the offer is in mint condition. This was the first ever attempt to bring up part of the Titanic, and during the salvage, a huge 21-ton piece was close to the surface and BOOM! the piece broke in half and fell to the bottom of the Atlantic, again. This invitation comes with the companion book: Facts about Titanic, by author Lee W. Merideth. It is a signed copy of his book. The book is in Mint condition.
