This tire has excellent winter weather traction. It grips the road well on both ice and snow-covered surfaces. The special winter compound provides additional grip, while the asymmetric tread design, with its unique siping detail, maintains road contact on all winter roads. The tread area is pinned for studs, which will increase the model's icy road grip if added. The wide V-shaped grooves prevent hydroplaning. These grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint and protect the tire during wet situations. The asymmetric tread design offers excellent steering responsiveness and controllability. This tread design closely follows the road surface, which increases the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure.
