Frank factory in Long Island. S.M. Frank is a historic American pipe-making company, and at this time Cristiano worked on Frank-owned makes such as Kaywoodie. Later, Cristiano departed to make his own pipes under the Thomas Cristiano name. This particular Thomas Cristiano is a very traditional quarter-bent billiard, with a brick-red stain dressed over some lovely birds-eye and cross grain patterns, all tied together with a brass and silver trim. The pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating to help ease the break-in process. There are some small, very superficial scratches.
