Description: This is an original 1922 second edition hardcover printing of "The Thyroid Gland: Clinics of George W. Crile and Associates," featuring contributions by various authors, edited by Amy F. Rowland, and published by W. B. Saunders Company. Over 100 photos and illustrations supplement the text. Topics covered can be seen on the contents pages in my 8th and 9th photos. Overall, the copy being offered is in fair vintage condition. As you'll see in my first four photos, the covers have moderate wear, particularly along the edges and at the top and bottom of the spine, with some fraying near the bottom of the spine; stains and scrapes are also noticeable on both covers. The binding is a little stiff but remains strong, and the pages are clean and crisp. Inside the front cover are a personal library sticker and some writing by a previous owner, which you can see in my 5th photo; this is the only marking or writing I found anywhere in the book.
