This hardcover copy is in the original dark brown embossed boards. This book has been rebacked. There are several tears still on interior cover pages from rebacking. Please view photos as replacement and repairs can be seen. All book cover edges are bent, marks through out hardcover and one nick on brown embossing on back cover. Overall book shows significant wear, mostly seen on hardcover, rebacking and inside cover pages. This is the 1st edition. Generally clean inside, but light foxing on a few pages and a few pages corners creased. Contemporary owner's inscription and year can be found on the upper right corner of front end paper.
