Description: Greetings! Thank you for checking out this listing. I've finally decided to let go of some vintage classical vinyl that has been following me around for over 40 years. I acquired my albums when I was in college and in the years before graduate school. Sometime during graduate school (late 1980s, early 1990s) I just stopped listening to vinyl. I'm not sure when. Possibly after my studies in Germany. Whenever it was, at some point it became unworkable for me to keep hauling around my sound system because I was moving constantly and because I spend two years studying abroad. I can't even remember what happened to my turntable, receiver, amplifier & speakers. But the vinyl I kept and brought with me even unto my final destination, St. Cloud, Minnesota. The thing to know about this album (about all of my vinyl) is that when I was actively listening to it, I took meticulous care of it. I had a vinyl record cleaning kit and I never played a disc without first cleaning it. I always handled them by the edges and the label so that fingers (& hence skin oil) didn't come into contact with the surface of the album. I always returned albums to their sleeves after listening and always stored albums standing upright to prevent warping. I was also picky about the styluses that I would use and would replace them as soon as the quality of sound they provided began to degrade. So while some of the covers for my old LPs look pretty tired (I didn't have plastic sleeves for all of my album covers), every one of the albums will be in excellent shape - for something that is 40 or 50 years old. The item you see in the photos is what you will receive upon purchase. Be assured that if you purchase this item and it proves to be unlistenable, I'll accept a return for a full refund.
