These two volumes form an important and integral part of Le Corbusiers theoretical writings. Author Biography Jean-Louis Cohen is the Sheldon H. Solow Chair in the History of Architecture at New York Universitys Institute of Fine Arts. He has written extensively on Le Corbusiers work. John Goodman is a translator and art historian. He has rendered some thirty books from French into English, notably works by Denis Diderot, Hubert Damisch, and Georges Didi-Huberman.
