Description: Rare copy of "The Land of the Lord High Tiger" by Roger Lancelyn Green (friend of Tolkien, and one of the "Inklings").Published by G. Bell & Sons Ltd, London, in 1958. Nice green boards with silver lettering. No jacket. Some of the pages have brown marks, and there are brown marks (foxing?) on the edge of the page block. It has clearly been read, but remains tightly bound and generally speaking in good condition. No names, dedications, etc nor any colouring-in of the illustrations by John Goodall (however tempting that might have been to a child reader..). Carefully packed. Happy to answer any questions.
