The Lady’s Friend Volume VII Mrs Henry Peterson Hardcover 1870

Description: Good used condition for a 154 year old book. Cover is worn at edges and spine is partially torn off. This would be an easy fix with glue, but I thought it was interesting to see the old newsprint used to bulk the spine. Binding is holding together well, no loose pages. Back cover is starting to tear off. It is still thin, old paper, so you'll have to be careful while reading. A few pages have tape that has turned brown with age. Contents are stories, poems, fashion advice, color plates, homemaking advice, etc.
