Description: The History of England: From the Accession of James the Second to the Death of William the Third. Complete five volume set. Undated, but the end of preface gives 1905; however they could be later, but not after 1920. Bound in full leather, and decorated with lavish gilt spines and armorial seals on covers, pages gilt on all edges and each has a sewn in red silk bookmark. Lightly rubbed at edges of spines and just a shade lighter than covers; otherwise perfect. Interiors fine. Overall near fine. 6.5" x 4.25" each; set is just a shade under 4" of shelf space.
