Description: "Sweet scenes in Old Beijing", this box is in excellent condition with a satin like lining and a magnetic closure. There is some minor denting on the top edge (see last photo) The box is disguised as a book from The Great Wall Sheraton Hotel in Beijing. I believe there was a "Mooncake" inside originally, but the yellow satin lining would make for a beautiful display background for a gift or to hide valuables in plain sight. You can feel pieces of cardboard under the satin and unfortunately, they can't easily be removed. The box measures approximately 8.5"x10.5"x2.5".
