Here in all its fresh-stamped glory is a book you did not probably know existed. It’s a fairy tale by L. Frank Baum who was the author of the “Wizard of Oz.” A fine copy printed in 1903. Best copy I’ve ever seen, as if right off the press 115 years ago. This book will be sent with tracking, insurance and protective boxing. I’m preparing for a journey to Oz soon. I’m not sure what route I’ll be taking. It will be crossing The Shifting Sands or The Deadly Desert. I may have detour Munchkin Land and face the Hammerheads. That means possibly fighting off some Kalidahs. If I cross The Invisible Valley of Voe I’ll need my magic cloak and I misplaced that. Dorothy would know where it is, but I can’t find her. Last I heard she was in China Country on a mercy mission gluing broken pieces for the broken who were involved in the China Children’s Crusade. I told them not to involve themselves in that. They were too brittle and delicate. They didn’t listen. Now I am told another Wicked Witch is in Quadling Land raising all kinds of hell with a nuclear-powered broomstick and a rather large militia of mad Munchkins. Since I left Oz twelve years ago there have been some real problems. The Wizard left and they installed a puppet government headed by The Purple Prince’s Power Puppets. He apparently replaced all the strings with titanium wires to make sure they would function without failure in The Cloven Court battle where The Yellow Knight failed in his take-over. He made a huge mistake by putting The Cowardly Lion in charge of the advancing armies of from The Emerald City. Little did he know that the lion stopped going to therapy and left the country. I saw that coming. His tail would twitch when one mentioned the word “witch” or “which.” Mention “which witch” and the tail would spasm. I may have to try and get military reinforcements located inside The Emerald City. Flying Winged Monkeys were seen just outside the walls so the city might be under siege and that may be a huge problem. Note: we can ship the same day by priority mail or faster. Inquire.
