This limited edition, hand numbered plate is trimmed in gold, in excellent condition and it comes with the original Certificate of Authenticity, Descriptive Leaflet and Box. The box shows some wear, but it's unusual to find this plate with both pieces of paperwork and the box. Diameter is approximately 7 3/4-inches. The artist's note on the back of the plate says: Why am I "Candytuft"? That I don't now! Maybe the fairies First called me so; Maybe the children Just for a joke; (I'm in the gardens Of most little folk). Look at my clusters! See how they grow: Some pink or purple, Some white as snow; Petals uneven, Big ones and small; Not very tufty - No candy at all! As you can see in the photos, the colors are soft and lovely and the attention to detail is nicely done making this plate a great gift choice or a nice addition for a collector.
