The Brave and the Bold was most famous for being a Batman Team-up book. Before that it featured action-adventure stories and then to re-introduce more Silver Age superheroes, testing the market (like Showcase), most famously with The Justice League of America, Teen Titans and Hawkman. This issue is the sixth one featuring the Silver Age Hawkman, with an SF origin (as opposed to the Golden Age Hawkman). His own title followed. This issue is a low-grade copy. Price reduced accordingly. Grade: Fair Detailed description: Complete. No missing pages. Staples still holding, but have discoloured the page around and close to them. Cover: - significant damage to the spine. - significant damage (water?) to the upper third of the front cover. Some discolouration. Internal: - pages crinkled, probably from water, however colour remains intact. - some tearing around staples. - a couple of staple holes where an additional staple was added.
